In-house machining and ST6 welded-hardfacing feasibility review
These machining steps are handled as part of RF Machining's workshop production and process planning for drawing-based parts. Drawing-defined Stellite 6 / ST6 welded hardfacing is reviewed for in-house feasibility. Component geometry and size, base material, overlay area, consumable grade, deposition route, machining allowance, finished overlay thickness, hardness and inspection method are confirmed for each RFQ and order.

Grinding, heat treatment, QPQ, hard chrome plating and thermal spray coating requirements can be arranged through long-term process partners when specified by the drawing or RFQ.
Partner-process suppliers are managed through long-term working relationships and order-specific requirements. Supplier names, customer names, logos, drawings and confidential order details are not published.

QPQ
Nitriding-related surface requirements can be arranged through partners.
Hard Chrome Plating

Specified Stellite grades or other cobalt-alloy hardfacing requirements are reviewed according to the drawing and agreed manufacturing route.

Inspection and document support
Document level is confirmed according to drawing, RFQ and order requirements. RF Machining keeps this practical and order-specific.
We check dimensions with calipers, micrometers, bore gauges and roughness meters according to part geometry and tolerance requirements. Material certificates and inspection reports can be provided upon request.
