Capabilities

Machining and partner-process capabilities

RF Machining separates in-house machining and Stellite hardfacing from processes arranged through long-term partners, so buyers can review capability boundaries clearly during RFQ communication.

Drawing-based custom machining

Typical machining range

Machining range confirmed from drawings

For sleeves, collars, rings, bushings, glands and other pump or valve components, RF Machining confirms size, material, tolerance, surface treatment and batch quantity from the drawing or sample before quotation.

  • Turned sleeves, collars, bushings, wear rings and gland-style ring components
  • Milled, drilled, tapped and slotted features when defined by the drawing
  • Stellite / cobalt-based alloy hardfacing considered in-house when the overlay area is defined
  • Small and medium batches for OEM, MRO and aftermarket spare-part supply
  • Larger or tighter-tolerance parts are confirmed case by case before quotation

In-house

In-house machining and Stellite hardfacing capabilities

These machining steps are handled as part of RF Machining's workshop production and process planning for drawing-based parts. Stellite / cobalt-based alloy hardfacing is considered when the drawing defines the overlay area, base material, machining allowance and inspection requirements.

CNC Turning

Sleeves, rings, bushings, shafts and other cylindrical parts.

CNC Milling

Milled faces, features, holes and non-standard component geometry.

Drilling & Tapping

Drawing-defined holes, threads and assembly features.

Thread Machining

Internal and external thread requirements according to drawings.

ID, OD, Face & Groove Machining

Controlled fits, end faces, steps and grooves.

CNC Slotting

Internal slotting and related drawing-defined features.

Partner processes

Processes arranged through long-term partners

Grinding, heat treatment, QPQ, hard chrome plating and thermal spray coating requirements can be arranged through long-term process partners when specified by the drawing or RFQ.

Partner-process suppliers are managed through long-term working relationships and order-specific requirements. Supplier names, customer names, logos, drawings and confidential order details are not published.

Grinding

Can be arranged through long-term process partners.

Heat Treatment

Can be arranged according to drawing and material requirements.

QPQ

Nitriding-related surface requirements can be arranged through partners.

Hard Chrome Plating

Can be arranged for drawing-defined surface requirements.

Other Overlay / Wear-Resistant Surface Requirements

Other overlay requirements can be reviewed according to drawing and process scope.

Nickel & Thermal Spray Coating

Can be arranged for specified surface or corrosion requirements.

Documents

Inspection and document support

Document level is confirmed according to drawing, RFQ and order requirements. RF Machining keeps this practical and order-specific.

We check dimensions with calipers, micrometers, bore gauges and roughness meters according to part geometry and tolerance requirements. Material certificates and inspection reports can be provided upon request.

  • Material certificates upon request
  • First article reports upon request
  • Key-dimension inspection records
  • Hardness, roughness and runout checks when required
  • Surface-treatment records when applicable
  • Packing photos upon request

Evidence

Machining and process evidence

Real equipment and component photos provide context for the capability discussion.

  • CNC turning in process for pump ring machining

  • Internal slotting operation for custom shaft sleeves

  • CNC milling in process for a large pump component
