What is the difference between a pump bushing and a shaft sleeve?
A pump bushing is usually a stationary support, guide or wear component with a controlled bore. A pump shaft sleeve is normally fitted around the shaft to protect sealing or packing areas.
Can RF Machining make bronze pump bushings?
Yes. Bronze, brass, stainless steel and customer-specified materials can be quoted from the drawing, sample and application requirements.
Do you make throat bushings?
Throat bushings can be quoted when the customer drawing or seal-chamber context identifies the part as a throat bushing. We avoid using that term for unrelated bushing parts.
