Finished valve seat and seat-ring components

Custom Hardfaced Valve Seats & Seat Rings

The gallery's Stellite 6/ST6 and Ni60 labels apply only to the matching verified examples and order requirements.

RF Machining supplies drawing- or sample-based finished components, not complete valves. Responsibility for complete-valve design, the pressure-retaining boundary, assembly, pressure testing, certification and valve performance remains with the valve manufacturer or design authority. Seat and seat-ring terminology is applied according to the component geometry and the customer's valve drawing.

Finished hardfaced valve seats and seat rings

RF Machining reviews a seat or seat ring according to the geometry named in the customer drawing, including the marked seating or working surface. Supply may start from a drawing, 3D model, sample or sample photos, but final production requirements must be confirmed. Applicable hardfacing routes are reviewed for each component and order. The route, filler/consumable grade, hardness, allowance, finished overlay thickness, dilution when applicable, finish machining and inspection are confirmed per drawing/RFQ/order.

Adjacent application examples

These are verified diesel-engine valve-seat examples with specified Stellite 6 on the tapered surface and Ni60 thermal spray in the bore. They are not presented as control-valve seat examples. Applicability and the manufacturing route remain drawing- and order-specific.

Buyer FAQs

Can you supply a finished hardfaced valve seat or seat ring?

Yes. RF Machining supplies drawing- or sample-based finished components when the seat or seat-ring geometry, base material, hardfaced area and final requirements are defined and accepted.

Are seat and seat ring interchangeable terms?

Not automatically. RF Machining follows the customer's drawing and component geometry, using seat or seat ring according to the identified part rather than treating every seating component as the same geometry.

Are the diesel-engine valve-seat photos control-valve seats?

No. Those photos are adjacent application examples only and are not presented as control-valve seat examples.

Are Stellite 6/ST6 and Ni60 standard for every seat?

No. Those labels belong only to the matching verified gallery examples and order requirements. Stellite is an RFQ-specified trade-name family and is not a generic name for all cobalt alloys.

How is the seat manufacturing route confirmed?

No universal hardfacing route is promised. Applicable hardfacing routes are reviewed for each component and order. The route, filler/consumable grade, hardness, allowance, finished overlay thickness, dilution when applicable, finish machining and inspection are confirmed per drawing/RFQ/order.

Does RF Machining take responsibility for the complete valve?

No. RF Machining supplies drawing- or sample-based finished components, not complete valves. Responsibility for complete-valve design, the pressure-retaining boundary, assembly, pressure testing, certification and valve performance remains with the valve manufacturer or design authority.
