Stellite 6 / ST6 hardfacing

Stellite 6 / ST6 Hardfaced Pump & Valve Components Made to Drawings or Samples

Custom pump and valve components requiring Stellite 6 / ST6 weld overlay, cobalt-based alloy hardfacing and finish machining. Overlay alloy and process are confirmed by drawing or RFQ, including base material, overlay area, hardness, machining allowance and inspection requirements.

Stellite 6 / ST6 hardfacing for pump and valve components

RF Machining reviews hardfaced pump and valve components according to customer drawings, samples and technical requirements. Typical work may include flat hardfaced working surfaces on balance discs and balance rings, wear-resistant ring parts, valve seats, valve discs and sealing surfaces. We do not present these examples as confirmed Stellite 6 / ST6 photos unless the drawing or RFQ verifies the alloy, process and inspection requirements.

Buyer FAQs

Is RF Machining a Stellite coating factory?

No. RF Machining is a machining supplier for pump and valve components. Stellite 6 / ST6 and cobalt-based alloy hardfacing requirements are confirmed together with finish machining requirements from the customer's drawing or RFQ.

Can you make hardfaced balance discs and balance rings?

Yes. Hardfaced balance discs and balance rings can be quoted when the drawing defines the base material, overlay area, machining allowance, final dimensions, hardness and inspection requirements.

Can you support Stellite 6 valve seats or sealing surfaces?

Valve seats, valve discs and sealing surfaces can be quoted when they are drawing-defined machined components. RF Machining does not manufacture complete valves or decide the valve design.

Are the hardfaced example photos confirmed as Stellite 6?

Not unless confirmed by the drawing or RFQ. Existing photos are hardfaced balance component examples. Overlay alloy, process route and inspection requirements are confirmed for each order.

What should be included in a Stellite 6 / ST6 hardfacing RFQ?

Please provide the drawing, base material, overlay alloy or specification, overlay area, overlay thickness, machining allowance, final dimensions, hardness, surface finish and any NDT or inspection requirements.
